AE Exhaust or Bastuck with AT?

Hey guys,

I'm thinking abt getting a aftermarket exhaust for me 335 e90 with AT.

After I have searched around it seems like these are the only two exhaust will not drone with AT!? is it true? Since i'm a daily city driver, won't want to drone at all...

Would anyone with AE or Bastuck (with AT) give me some opinion on both performance and sound?

That's say the loudness on scale 1-10, stock is 1 and Eisenmann race is 10.How would you guys rate this two exhausts?

Any suggestions or opinions will be well apprecaited.

Thanks in advance.

I had Eisenmann Race, and now running Bastuck. Eisenmann = 10, Bastuck = 6. I'm sure AE should be louder than Bastuck since it's catback exhaust which replace the 2nd cat. I'd go with AE if I were to do it again. I got bastuck because GB price was good.

Bastuck with midpipes is what I have and love it. However, if you just get the bastuck is was a little too quiet.

The only thing stopping me from getting a Bastuck is I'm worrying about easily going back to stock. Don't I have to cut midpipe?

Good sir- That is a small issue going back to stock which will require welding later.

Beside with this- We did designed our system with the most smoothest pipes which also includes by removing the stock resonators which causes a bit bottle neck through the system. We did decided that everyone would appreciate the most possible performance, best sound, and simple installation. On this choice. Then you really can have your cake and still eat it for a very long time.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Nick

i may be a bit biased, but the bastuck sounds a lot more exotic than the AE exhaust.

although, as another posted pointed out, it isn't very loud until you either go with catless downpipes or midpipes.

it's expensive, but may as well get the best first time around.

to make things a little more complicated i just saw a special on AR Design catless DP + cat-back CP-E exhaust (cats optional). sounds similar to bastuck IMO but is a bolt on to the DP. no cutting!

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=449837

all three of these exhausts (AE, Bastuck, AR/CPE) are awesome...such a hard choice!

Well- just to help you a little bit-

Heres a link for our videos on youtube. We definitely did our homework before selling all our systems.
