Break Caliper Powder Coating

Mates, anyone got there break calipers powder coated? Is it worth doing it? Or would it be lame kinda? Would the breakdust ruin the effect? i'm quiet uncertain about this matter at the moment want to hear some opinions. And usually the price for them being done or the shop, if anyone can suggest would be appreciated...thanks

worth it depends on how much you can get it done for but typically powdercoating is not cheap, especially if you have to pay the guy to remove and reinstall back on your car. if you're comfortable doing it yourself then it shouldn't be too bad. but for all the hassle/effort you could easily buy a g2 caliper kit and paint it for quicker and cheaper.

g2 comes with brush, not spray so it's pretty easy to work with. means you don't have to remove the caliper nor worry about overspray. the durability of the paint will depend on how well you prep, but that's really nothing more than taking a wire brush against all the rust. g2 imo looks better than the other paints b/c of its epoxy formula which allows the paint to level better.

"brake" calipers are cheap to powder, the issue is the labor in rebuilding it.

From the looks of his sig, he has a late E90, I doubt that rebuilding the calipers is necessary.
