EDITED My new exhaust idea for modded 335's
I was thinking if the best way to get power for modded n54's with a lot of boost is to let air out as quick as possible at the shortest distance , can we use E cut out http://www.quicktimeperformance.com/QTEC/index.php ??? and how far after the downpipes would that be safe to connect it , the also sell connector pipes that are bend towards the ground , just for the performance mod, and you can drive with your stock/aftermarket exhaust most of the time

It's called E-cutout. I had it on my old car and loved it but not sure how it'll work with all the electronic gizmos on 335. Also haven't had it on a lift yet so don't know if there's a place to mount it.

I think I have seen one on the forum somewhere, but I do not recall if it was linked to the throttle.

Ya those are great ones. By buddy has those on his s4 audi and says they all use that brand. I was thinking about doing this also. What would the gains be if you had this after cattless dps with tune/intake/meth be?

I'd say pretty decent that's the setup I'm running, so whenever you want you're in the quiet car whenever you want to race you open that shit up, the shortest distance and the quicker you let airout the better it is , he's using quick motor performance ?

I've had one of those. You just have to figure out the wiring and drilling for the switch.

the other problem with having them dump under the car is that the fumes can get in the car. I cut my pipes on my Bustang, a little past the header, and fumes would get in the car and make everything smell like gas. However our cars do have better cabin weatherproofing/sound proofing than a 93 mustang 5.0

I would not run them open when I drive, only when I'm on the airport strip racing, NOW question is, am I really looking at some hp gains being that I'm fully modded + meth having this done ?
