I experience lots of squeeking and creaking noises.

I'm not sure if the E90 335i is 4pax or 5pax, but my E92 is 4pax and the centre console in the rear definitely squeeks

U guys talk a different language on here. I assume u meant 4seater or 4seater.. It's 5 seater.
I guess there is not much we can do about it as it's out of warranty.

Mine occasionally creaks, seemingly related to certain temps or humidity - if I press firmly down on the trim which surrounds the gear selector it stops. I jammed some dense foam into the gap between the front of that trim and the black plastic centre stack housing the favourite buttons which helped a bit. You can prise that trim off and likely could have a go at stuffing something underneath but mine isn't bothering me enough for that.

Almost all cars rattle and creak at times - my E90 is the best I've owned in this regard.

BMW interiors usually have squeaks and rattles.

Hi SharifE. Welcome to the forum.

I had the same issue with my centre console. It seems to be a common problem on E90/E92's dating back to 2006. Only noticed it whilst on the F3, driving over concrete sections of road which have a rougher/bumpier surface than bitumen. Nearly drove me crazy.

It did give me the opportunity though to try and isolate where the rattle was coming from. It was at the front of the trim that covers the centre console on the driver's side. When pushing down on the front/forward edge of the trim, the rattle disappeared. My pet hate in cars is rattles and squeaks. I can't stand them. They can sometimes prove difficult to identify. I was relieved when I had it isolated. This meant I could get it fixed.

After doing some digging, I found a BMW SIB that covers a fix for this centre console rattle. A piece of felt tape is placed across the top edge of the centre console trim at the front. This part of the trim sits under the instrument panel.

Took the car straight into the dealer armed with the SIB. They performed the work under warranty.

Below is the link to SI B51 07 06 - Creaking Noise from the Center Console

I can confirm the fix works and my car is rattle free... (and has been for the last 14 months).

My car has that felt

I occasionally get a creak from the overhead console, where the light is. The back sliding console is left open otherwise it vibrates which is common with aftermarket exhausts.

I also have a squeaking noise from the centre console but it is only when the air conditioner is on!

It increases with bumps in the road and can also be silenced temporarily by pressing anywhere around the centre air intakes or pressing on the dash above the I-drive screen.

The car should be going in for a service next month, hopefully ther can fix it.

Thanks for the pointer to what could be the problem 335i-boy.

I had one like that - sounded like it was coming from somewhere around the iDrive screen. Silenced as you describe and related to cold air coming through the a/c. Once it started up, it would go for hours.

Dealer had 3 goes at fixing it and on the third time were successful - when I asked I was told they 'tightened everything up' behind the iDrive screen.
