anybody try the internet in the I-drive 2011

Does the internet feed off the personal phone or through bmw assist? just picked up the 2011 coupe

It goes through bmw assist. You need the convenience package which cost 199 a year.

The only Internet access thru iDrive is the Assist BMW (Google) Search for $199 a year as stated above. There's no Internet access thru your phone.

Read you manual, please.
