VERY big difference. The non sport rides much better over everyday roads, such as brick roads, dips in the road. Feels very compliant, smooth, supple, absorbent. The Sport model is 0.6 inchs lower with firmer shocks, springs and I believe larger antiroll bars. Sport models still ride very smooth but are a lot more firm or jarring over minor bumps and brick roads.

Well, there is a pretty huge difference in ride quality. The ZSP is much firmer and crashes over sharp bumps. The runflats make it very uncomfortable. Without runflats, the ride is much better.
As for handling, the balance of the non-sport is better than sport, which is kinda ass backwards. The grip level of the sport suspension is phenomenally better but there is quite a bit of understeer. At 6 tenths, it's really fun to drive the ZSP cars but 8 tenths and beyond the car is rather irritating to drive. You have to be way drastic to get it to rotate. You can remove the front/rear tire stagger to significantly improve the balance and retain the grip. Just put a 245 or 255 size tire on the front wheels (use a pair of rear 8.5" wheels).

if you want comfortable but a bit of a drop, get Alpina's suspension. It's 10-15% pricier then Performance but it's better in sense that it's been designed for 1) E9x and 2) for non-RFT tyre.
