Renting out Orlando Dragway

Hey everybody,
I'm thinking about organizing an event to rent out orlando speedway so we could have just tons of imports and probably a few exotics. What do you guys think? would you be interested? I plan on asking this wednesday when I go but does anybody know about how much it costs?

AFAIK, this is a very costly endeavor. A track day will run between 2-3K (my friend tried to do this as well to get a Mazda only track day) and is not very cost effective. Speedworld is rather cheap, costing only 10 bucks to get in and another 5 to race, total cost per car is $15 bucks. So say it costs $2500 to rent it out for a day (there needs to be emergency vehicles and maintenance equipment out there) you would need 2500/15 = 166 vehicles for this to be cost effective. At that point you're going to wait quite a while in between runs. Even if you were to get 83 cars (which for the Orlando area for only BMW at Speedworld would be near impossible in my opinion, the most BMWs at one speedworld track night WED/FRI I have ever seen was 5), it would still run $30 a car and I doubt many people would show up...

Now if you can get all types of exotics and anyone with nice cars out there that don't mind dropping some $$ to rent it out, then it would be an awesome event

Actually I think it's only like 1500$

They will do rentals where you can only run a single lane (at a time) (cuts down on safety costs)

Really you can run one lane just as fast or faster then 2 lanes, it takes a lot of extra time to get two people staged and released at the same time then it does to just release on lane while the other is staging release the other once hes down the track etc etc
