Tramlining, summer tires and pressure

Hi, This past week in NJ the temperatures have been in the mid 30's to low 40's. Over that time I noticed by 2006 330i with summer tires (RFT) and sport package to be tramlining like crazy. Checked tire pressure and it was low (mid-20's PSI), for one probably due to the lower temps. Once inflated to proper PSI for front and rear the tramlining almost went away (there will always be some due to road conditions). Just wanted to share in case others have experienced the same phenomenon. I'll be changing to winter tires soon enough though.

True

Yes, I experienced the same - tramlining all over the place, and TC light lit up frequently - and still haven't ordered my winter set up. Gotta do that this weekend - looks like I will need them sooner this year

I heard you really shouldn't drive summer tire when temp is below 45F, time to put on winter tire
