Brake sensors for 06,E90 xi ?
I would like to know how many brake sensors do I need for a E90/2006 325xi ? Is it 2 or 4 ?
Should I purchase OEM or if not, which brand is recommended? Thanks in advance.

are you getting a warning, if not you dont have to replace them, i didnt. otherwise i think its always safe to go oem and where ever you buy them from can tell you how many you need, all the bmw's ive had have two i dont see why an xi would have four.

The only warning I see is when I start the car the car symbol comes up 'Red' and then I check the setting that shows I need about 3k left to change the brake pads. Would this be the warning you mean, or is it something else?
Thanks for the response.

Once the BRAKE light lights up and stays red while driving that's when the sensor has been tripped. If still not sure u can pull the sensor and see if it has been tripped by seeing if its warn down

As stated previously, should only be (2) sensors. (1) DS Front/(1) PS Rear

+2 I tried aftermarket sensors with my e46 and even though they looked identical it would not fit; purchased OEM and it snapped right in.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger
