Question about parking ticket:Expired Registration Sticker

Got a parking ticket and one of them is for Expired Registration Sticker.
My registration up-to-date and i have the right sticker, it was just not on the plates yet.
1) Will that violation/parking ticket affect my insurance points?!
2) Should i appeal it?!

Thanks in advance!!

I would definately appeal it. It will actually affect your insurance. I got pulled over awhile back for an expired inspection sticker and found out a couple of months later that it was a moving violatinon and had an increase on my premium.

I got a ticket for this once..stupid me forgot to put the sticker on the plate while I was parked in Brighton one day.

if you are parked it isn't a moving violation... you are OK.. I ended up paying my ticket because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of fighting it...

definitely appeal it if you have the time for court.
but like what Mike said, if you're parked it shouldn't be a moving violation. Best thing to do is call your insurance agent and ask.
