Question about bumper replacement
My friend backed into my baby with his Tahoe this morning, love him to death, so I wasnt mad, fortunately his trailer hitch just hit my bumper and not a whole lot of damage was cause, however, he is going to replace the bumper for me. I have the M Sport package on mine and for some reason all the ones I am pulling up on eBay and Google seem to be the normal one and not the sport bumper. He doesn't have too much money and I really don't want him to have to spend $417 at the BMW dealership plus paint and labor costs. Does anyone have any links or anything where I might could find the bumper I need? its just a slight ding off center in on the front. I appreciate any assistance and sorry for the book, lol.

its going to be hard to get it for less then what you want him to spend , those bumpers go for like 600$ without paint .

u can go with the Bmw Aerobynamic bumper. It cost $500 at the dealer. U can also try singing up for the BmwCC and u can get 10%-15% off anything u buy.

The BMW dealership here told me part number 51117140859 would cost me $417, minus labor and paint. He said he couldn't tell me if that was the sport bumper or not, so idk. I might go for that Aerodynamic one.

And I was thinking about getting the part on eBay and going from there, because I am sure I can get it a lot cheaper, but I am afraid some of those are not OEM. Its the other costs that I am more worried about.

Im pretty sure $417 is the price of the standered stock lci bumper. It is the same price i was given to replace my stock bumper with the same thing.

Maybe try craigslist to see if there is someone selling one local. I doubt it but it's worth a shot. Most of the time people will sell their oem standard bumpers because they got the mtech or m3 replica bumpers etc. Worst comes to worse, depending on how bad it is, it might be fixable for less.
