Logic 7 Equalizer Settings

Hi! I have an E93 with the Logic 7. Awesome sound system! I was wondering what you have your equalizer settings programed to? I listen to mostly top 40, rock, and r&b. Some club music now and then. I am having trouble getting the settings "just right". Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Its a subjective experience. Just adjust it so it sounds good to you.

I've got a Radioshack SPL meter and a couple Test CDs for checking frequencies. I will check from the front driver seat for the correct "flat" readings at all frequencies-- this will give you and approximation of what the recording engineer heard when the music was recorded.

You are warned however, that most people find a flat adjusted EQ curve to be unsatisfying... they usually want to hear a little bit more treb and a little more bass for that "scooped midrange" effect.

Personally, I find the effect irritatingly artificial and it diminishes most vocals too much, but finding the flat curve is a good starting point.
