Continental TS 830 P Winter Tyres - views?

I need to change my summer RFTs quite soon and was planning to get away from RFTs altogether and fit some Continental 5Ps having heard so many good things about them. Have since been reading up on winter tyres though and seems the logical thing to do at this time of year and have been looking at Continental Wintercontact TS 830 P's which also seem to have good reviews. Anyone have any views on these?

As I only do around 6k miles a year (330i SE Touring. mostly town + motorway) and don't fancy the hassle of fitting / re-fitting tyres or getting a spare set of wheels/tyres, I was also wondering whether these would be OK to keep on over the summer?

Bad idea to keep winters on in the summer - tyre temps will get too high and you'll experience very high wear rates and a significant decrease in grip and performance.

TS830 is fantastic as a winter tyre, but expensive compared to the Vredestein Wintrac Extreme
