What impact if any will swapping my 17 stock tires for 19 low profiles

Staggered on my 2009 328xi coupe have on performance? Just wondering everyone's take (besides the fact they look REALLY nice )

You should check out the C&D comparo on tire sizes and how they discovered that 19 inch tires actually slowed down the car and made handling worse. Personally I would not go beyond 18". I have the 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear on mine and like it, although I just switched to my winter set of 225/45/17 and it always seems faster because the tires and wheels are lighter

1) significant increase in your chances of getting a curb rash
2) significant increase in your chances of getting a flat due to potholes
3) harsher ride

but performance wise:

quicker response from the tires

I'm running 189's and it's great! Just very pothole sensitive. ESPECIALLY in NYC area.
