lug bolt torqued too tight....can this cause problems
So I just replaced my OEM wheels and Kumho Ecsta's with OEM wheels and Goodyear tires. Had a slight vibration from the rears with the first set. Noticed when I took them off that the rear tires were worn on the inside of tread. Put on the 2nd set I bought from another member (I havent had them balanced yet myself) and still have the vibration. I cleaned the hubs and inside of wheels really well
I did notice that one lug on each rear wheel was torqued on way too hard. Broke an adapter trying to get them off. Can that one lug over tightened do any damage to the hub and cause a slight wobble/vibration? |
