I'm not launching this car hard again even with upgraded halfshafts UNTIL I find out how to eliminate wheel hop...what's the point in upgrading halfshafts when the root of the problem isn't solved...
any ideas/recommendation on how to solve wheel hop are highly welcomed...so far I have stronger (m3) rear subframe mounts and rear control arms (wishbones) ordered from tischer...some ppl are indicating to look into toe arms from m3 or velocity motoring and to also check rear spring rates...i've had KW V2 coils for 2 years on this car now and I have no idea how to check these spring rates or adjust them to tune out wheel hop...any ideas? |

ok, now I'm thinking twice about even hard roll-on launches on broken streets. i think i got some minor wheel hop yesterday. i just assumed my tires were slipping, but after reading all this i think there was some wheel hop involved.
