"Floaty" feeling on acceleration with winters?
Hi guys,
for my winter setup, I am running Dunlop WinterSport M3s. I have noticed on several occasions a rather weird feeling - if I accelerate hard (say from 50 km/h to 100 km/h at full throttle in 3rd), the steering wheel suddenly goes light, and it feels as if the tires were "balooning" - turning into pizza cutters, and about to let go. I have noticed it on the dry, but today, it really scared me in the wet - I thought I was going to slide, but after turning the wheel some more, the tires felt planted...? What could it be? I'm running 2.5/2.8 bar front/rear. Is it just the tires? It feels so weird, not very confidence inspiring at all... |
