What size spacers should I get?

Hey,
I want to get spacers and am not sure what size to get. I know about the straight edge/ruler technique, but I just want to know if anyone else with my car/rims has gotten spacers and if so what sizes are appropriate.

I have a 2009 e90 LCI 335i with M Sport Package which includes the standard M Sport package suspension. (A little bit lower than sport.)

My rims are the standard 193M.

I am thinking 15mm front/18mm rear.

Any advice?

In general, I always recommend using this technique to measure the distance between the tire and fender. This is the best way to measure how thick of a spacer you’ll need because each car setup varies due to different tire/rim setups and/or specific year/model of vehicle.

In any case, what size tires/rim widths is your stock setup? A safe spacer setup would be 10mm front / 15mm rear. You could probably get away with a bit more but I'd double check using the below methods.

I recommend going with H&R TRAK+ spacers as they are a tried and true product. They’re made in Germany under ISO 9001 Quality Assurance standards, and meet the rigid safety criteria of the German TÜV.

As always, do a search for more information and other members’ suggestions.

Feel free to shoot me a PM/email, or call if you had any other questions or concerns.

I would agree with Cal on this one. Measuring the gap will insure the best possible size for your specific application.

i have the exact setup as you just bought 10mm for front and 12mm for back, tell me how your 15s work out on the back. 15mm sound a little rediculous for the front

but you are pre lci, you have a good bit more room than op does.
I wouldnt go above 10mm front and 15mm rear, unless you plan on rolling fenders

I have the same wheels/suspension as you.
I have 10mm front and 15mm rear.
The front probably still got some room, maybe try a 12mm.
But 15mm on the rear is good.
