265/35/R18 on 18" x8" a... good idea? Fit my 328i?

I'm looking at purchasing a (used) set of 18" x 8, +35 offset RTX Berlin Wheels with Hankook V12 Ventus tires, trying to figure out if I'll have any issues with my '07 328i sedan - no sport pkg.

The tires he has mounted are 225/40/18 front, 265/35/18 rear.

Wondering if:
  1. I'm going to run into clearance issues
  2. the wheels will sit out far enough
  3. the rears will bulge too much to the point where performance might be affected (ie more than just looks being a concern)
  4. have much of a stiffer ride than the stock 16" run flats

Anyone with any insight?

Edit: all of the reading I've been doing indicates that 255 and 265 is likely too wide for 8" rims however I can't tell if that's people speaking mostly from a looks perspective or actual real-world performance/safety perspective. All of the calculators etc I've used seem to indicate I should be fine for clearance though. But they all come with disclaimers haha. I'm guessing as far as ride is concerned, anything has to be better than rft.

265/35/18 on 18x8 seems way to way. But ET35 and 265 wide tires are okay.

265/35/18 needs at least a 9" wide wheel. An 8.0" wheel is extremely narrow.

I appreciate your replies and your knowledge in on the subject.

This is how the tires look on the rear: I would have expected it to look more bulgy.

Sounds like the recommendation here would be to *not* pick them up though. Anyone have any opinions on RTX? They don't seem to be super well known based on google searching yet they do these M6 replicas cheaper than the others I've seen.
