I got the new RACELAND 2.5 CATLESS pipes in today. I am working on getting pics up but they look better than the last batch for sure. The welds have been ground down on the inside where they can be reached and the outer finnish is on point for a item that was only $175 delivered. I plan on heat coating them so I could care less on the outer finnish.

I agree that the welds are better. However, read post #13 before the install.

got mine in on friday. They looked decent to me I can see where ppl would say the welds aren't the BEST quality but oh well they were $175.

Was going to just slap em on but I found some oil leaks when I put it on the lift sooooo gota take it back to BMW to get that fixed (amongst other nuances).

So in the meantime I too will be getting my DPs heat coated.

Yea, im thinking about getting downpipes right now. Im just not sure about the install
It looks so simple, im trying to figure out if people are exaggerating a little bit.

if you have all the tools (jacks, jackstands, air compressor + air tools) and you're not afraid to get under your car go for it.

i have none of the above but i have a friend with all that stuff so he's going to help me do it. its good to DIY especially if u have warranty so you can take them off if needed without spending unnecesary cash

i contacted Raceland today and they did confirmed that the new batch will have better weld and the fix for the O2 fitment. She did mentioned that the pipe will be 2.5 not 3.0. I hope to grab a pair of these soon.
