I dont know yet, they want me to try and install it one more time b4 they send me a new one. I am going to take snapshots of the whole install so I can show them that I know what im doing...I have heard "check your connection 1,000 times...its not the connection! I am going to buy the data logging cable today and try and reload the firmware to make sure its not data corruption. (that would piss me off, as I spent 5+ hrs installing/uninstalling...waiting the 10 min. everytime so the ecu could go to sleep) I cant really try the install again until 1, the weather gets better or 2, I find a garage. (which if anyone is in Richmond I would pay to use it tonight) I am tired of waiting....

There has gotta be someone in richmond that would maybe let you swap procede boxes with them to see if it runs for a case of beer or something...

Well, now that I think about it..... There aren't too many 335i's in richmond, let alone tuned ones...

I know you've heard the 'check your connections' and you're sick of it....it's just that one of these threads pops up all the time and it's almost Always an install problem...

Right you are my friend, there are hardly any enthusiasts here. At least not n54 enthusiasts...I have a couple buddies that I meet up weekly but most arent as in to modding as I am. I am getting a new unit sent to me tomorrow...all is good.

Haha Yeah I put mine in rather quicly too, its the codes that I threw and the rpm gauge bouncing up and down that bothered me lol.

EDIT: No worries tho, Shiv is really cool, he is sending me another unit here shortly. His customer service is great. Should be getting it next week, I will post how the install goes.

We are chopping it up as a defective unit until I send it back to Shiv and he tests it. He is sending me a brand new one with the v5 firmware. It was a blessing in disguise, it should be here on monday or tuesday. Im not in any hurry tho so its cool. It will actually be perfect timing since the rest of my mods(ar cl dp's, ar 2nd oil cooler, ar occ, and hpf fmic) will be going on next week. It really will be a whole diff. car after these goodies...

As soon as BMW decides "its time" for me to get new plugs/injectors I am going to get meth. I think it will be pretty soon, they recommend it at 45000, im at 40XXX so it will be sooner rather than later. Then I wont care so much about the warranty.
