MSDSinc CAI intake write-up

Over the weekend, i put in the MSDS CAI and i have to say, the craftsmanship and quality of the intake are impressive. The install was one of the easiest CAI's ive installed. The install comes with instructions, tool list and a link to the front bumper removal (which is off e90post)... be prepared, have a friend.

When i was searching for an intake, i could't figure out if i wanted to go short ram or CAI for this car, and was debating it for a good time. ( i go snowboarding alot and LA potholes are nasty for CAI's) After doing a good amount of research for short/long cai, i found this MSDS beast. Its a DUAL intake... it can be disconnected at certain points, move a filter, some screws, and BAM!!!: it's a short ram intake.(one of the very few i could find on the market.) I plan to run as a full cold air intake, but I see people using this in heavy rain areas as a short ram...or when i go to mammoth.
At first drive , the performance delivers the extra punch my car needed. My car has not been tuned yet, but it definitely has the pick up it was missing before. My induction sound is definitely TURBO, and the exhaust note at idle got a little more pronounced as well. My car actually felt stronger tonight 47 deg. than it did on Sunday. Ive had 3 cars in the past with CAI intakes so i have heard about the +1hp for every -10deg F drop, and this intake delivers. overall, as you can see im "5 EXTREMELY SATISFIED" with my purchase.

MSDSinc told me that they are having a 25% off sale on all products to the forum members. Just tell them the forum your from for the discount. They were very fast at getting me the intake and everything came clearly labeled. THANKS MSDS!!!!!!!!! Back to pissing people off as i fly by them....

heres some pics of the install.
