Meth and check engine light???
Couple of weeks back between 3 to 5k rpms 3rd and up the car would shake and the check engine light would come on. Cylinder 5 misfire. I took everything off and the car drove normal no more shaking or what not. Changed plugs everything is fine and took it to the dealer they said coils were good. Now I put the jb3
And DCI the car was great no Faults or check engine. I put the charge pipe and meth. I have a 2.5 gallon tank. 2 gallons meth and .5 distilled water. After 2 days it's happening again. Any help the other day I went into limp mode and it was a vanos code. Can that be a reason for the check engine light and the misfire?? Btw on low rpms I hear ticking noise on just little pressure on throttle. Any help would be appreciated my check engine light is still on at the moment. I really don't wanna take everything back off again cause I just installed everything back on except my dps. Thanks

I am not an expert, but is it possible to spray too much methanol at high boost ? Maybe a smaller nozzle ? Also, do you have a progressive or fixed flow ?
You may also want to read this thread in which someone has some similar problems: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=456696 |

there is something wrong with your car which is problaby unrelated to mods.
Just remove all the mods and take it to the dealer especially since you got a VANOS code. That might be the reason why. Leave the codes in (but check you dont have the tuner codes) and let the dealer deal with the VANOS issue.
