Im running catless DP and eisenmann race. Every time my wife sits in my car she complains about the drone and loudness. For the exhaust im just looking for sound not performance and planning to put the stock muffler on and install the cut out. Anyone else has done this mod?

I have heard a bit about the cut out on some other sites, not sure how it will sound though. Try it out and post a review. Also, when you take off your eisenmann race, I might buy that. PM me when you are looking to sell it

i think they are stupid. im not trying to hide the sound of my car. if its too loud for you, then sell your mods. i just dont see the point to them.

i dont mind if its loud but sometimes I give my wife a ride and she complains about it. So i can switch it to quiet mode when shes on my car if i get the cut out

i did search for cut out but no one has done this mod. Btw how many inch is the exhaust pipe of 335i? i found some on ebay and they are in different size. 2.5 inch , 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch

haha I'm just messin with you. There actually is a thread on here where someone did it I remember posting up in it. This guy wanted to be able to run open DPs instead of his performance exhaust, I haven't seen anyone do it with stock. As for the size I am pretty sure that it is 2.5, don't quote me in that but if I remember correctly thats what it is.

Yea, I've talked to him on another site, I thought he used a different brand. That is the exact one though? Can you give us his exact setup? Obviously you would need to purchase two, but what else?
