Who can finally answer this question for me?

I've searched the forums but couldn't find what I was looking for. I have a 335xi coupe and I was going to it dropped soon. I was wondering.

Is the drop from h&r xi springs the same from the non xi sport springs?

and..

Is it harmful at all to take out that plate in the front when installing the springs to get rid of the rake?

I couldn't figure it out while searching through the forums so if someone could help me out that would be awesome!

The end result of the drop is the same...xi drops more because it has further to go
I have H&R Sports and the rake really isn't that noticeable in person

Ok 1/2 questions answered. So there us no difference in drop between the two. But anyone know about the steel plate I'm talking about? Useful or leave it off?
