FS: USED 162's W/TIRES
I have a used set of 162's and OEM Potenza run flats with approximately 20k miles on them. The tires are NOT in great shape, but believe it or not there is still some tread left on these. The previous owner ran the fronts at about 27psi so there is some shoulder wear (see below). One wheel is in great shape, two are in good shape and one is in fair shape with moderate curb damage that was repaired. I want to be perfectly honest so you know what you're getting, so here's the deal: 1. Driver's front rim is perfect. Tire is feathered on the inside and outside edges. No real vibration, but it's fairly noisy. 2. Passenger's front wheel took some moderate curb damage which was repaired by the local BMW dealer. A small spot of clear coat has flaked off, but the rest of the finish looks OEM. Tire has a bad scuff where the curb damage is and the inside and outside edges are feathered, but not as bad as the other front. 3. Driver's rear rim had very minor curb damage that was repaired by the local BMW dealer. Tire is as expected for 20k miles... approx. 15%-20% tread left. 4. Passenger's rear rim had very minor curb damage that was repaired by the local BMW dealer. Tire is as expected for 20k miles... approx. 15%-20% tread left. These would make a great track or winter set of wheels and are certainly good enough to be daily drivers. The tires are good enough to get you through to your next set and should easily last another 5k miles. I can email hi-res (10MP) daytime pics to anyone interested. Price is $600 paypaled (I'll cover fees). Shipping is at buyer's expense at actual cost. Con. US deals only, please. Thanks for looking! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by boyce'06 330i; 04-04-2007 at 11:21 PM.. Reason: Pics added! |

Fortunately the storms have past with little damage. Mostly heavy rain and high winds (60 - 70 mph straightline in places), and we did have some 1/2" hail.
I'll post pictures of the wheels tomorrow night. Thanks! |
