UPDATE**

So as you know I got my tires in the spring and installed, so I am pretty happy with them, the braking power on them in the rain was really great and and using them on the 1/4 mile was sweet too.

Until I had to goto Manhattan, NY for a death in the family, and was cruising on the I-90 east when the car told me that one of my tires is flat(FTM) I was going at lease 110kph(65mph) of course there was no gas station to pull in to for another 52 miles.

Then bang the tire blown out, and I was stuck in the car for an hour with my parents, I did bring my OEM tire with me but I forgot we do not have jacks in our cars because of the run flats.

So long story short AAA come out and switched out the tires and I was on my way again, in the mean time I was wondering how a brand new tire set up lose air so quickly and blow like that, and of course listening to my parents saying that I should have bought better tires.

So we made it to my brother's home and he set me up with a tire guy that knew his stuff!

And hooked me up with a new tire(no rim damage thank God!!)

I found out the it was a F**KING nail that cause the flat not the tire.

But this is where the story gets good.

Last night I was on the I-90 west and got hit by the lake affect snow.

Here is the link to the story

http://online.wsj.com/article/AP3e44...865666c35.html

Now when I was buying these from SORTA he told me I could run them in the snow, and I told them "I am buying them from you, you don't have to still sell me on them"

They thought I would like to know that, and little to my knowledge that I would have a first hand use of them in the snow with buzzard conditions.

All I could say is WOW!! it got me thought that mess!!!

I am now more impressed with them now then I was before!!

But I would still not use them as winters but if you get caught with these on in a storm just take your time and these would get you though it.

I put a pick of how my tire looked like when it blow, but this is not the tire or rim I have but it is the same look of it.
