ContiComfortkit..anyone use it ?

Now that I'm about to get rid of the RFT tyres , will need to source some form of inflation kit / goo for the Non RFTs.

Anyone tried the ContiComfortkit....see http://www.conti-online.com/generato...ortkit-en.html

And any idea how it compares with the BMW Mobility Kit which no doubt is at least twice the price ?

I just went into Repco on Flinders street and picked up some Green Slim http://www.slime.com/index.php
Which was about $50. And it fits real well even under the boot liner.

Thanks for the tip.

I was looking for a similar product but with an additional compressor. I am surprised that you could inflate a tyre to a reasonable driving pressure (say 30 psi) using a pressurised can! I guess you have not yet had the opportunity to try it yet ?

I also carry a cycle track pump in the boot (I cycle regularly so it's handy for both) - over the years I've most often had slowish leaks and can generally reinflate the tyre a few times to get me to the tyre place.

At least they can then repair the tyre - some goos prevent that possibility.

The slime kit does have a compressor in it and I have pumped my tires up to 40psi using it.
