Buckman -
Thanks for the update...we're looking forward to the pics. (35mm...get into the 90s my good friend...its called digital) Back to your original post, did you use stock bolts or the ones Tiretrends provided with the rims ? Thanks for the help. |

Used stock bolts. Kinda like the charcoal look of the stock bolts. Also, I'm guessing they could be better quality steel in the stock bolts than the bolts sent by tiretrends - stockbolts from Europe, aftermarket bolts from who knows where?!?!? Anyway, likey a mute point. Didn't even try the Tiretrends bolts. Also, BMW bolts has the keyed bolt for theft protection. Sticking to stock keeps all the bolts the same colour. All user preference...
Reason for 35 mm - love my photo albums. Those with digital cameras don't often have albums, in my experience. Easy point to argue, but that's why. It's not the money... I'm getting a E50 or E90 Nikon (can't remember numbers) if I ever get a digital! |

I think I'll get these wheels as my winter set, but has anyone tried these tires?

I ordered these wheels...
After seeing two 330's, one with these M5 replicas and the other with the OEM 158's I didn't want to install the M5 replicas. Just didn't look right to me on the car compared to the OEM's (espeically for winter). Bugs me that I had to pay a rediculous price for them (even after debating with my dealer for an hour why I needed to get a discount - and he gave me one. Still wound up to be 2X the price of these M5 replica's. Alex/ |

figured i'd post some pics (took them quickly it's pouring out) for those who are anxious to see. Honestly I don't mind the wheels but I miss my 162's already. The fronts are ok but the rears don't fill in the fenders all that great. OK for winter I guess. Size is : 17 x 8 with 38 offset

I got the same package. I think they look great, with the only exception being the offset in the back - could have used spacers but I don't like them (spacers). For a winter tire setup I think it is perfectly fine.
I actually received compliments on these mags. |
