The MP5 was my favorite gun in COD4, but in BO, it moves around way too much and is absolutely horrible at long range. The AK-74 is better, doesnt move around as much, and you can actually hit something at long range if they are not moving.

As for Assault rifles, that G11 is a waste of time, dont bother. Sure, it has some power to it, but it blocks your entire view of your right side becuz its so massive. You only get a choice of 1 scope for it and it too sucks.

I like the FAMAS, decent power, great rate of fire and is crazy accurate. Its almost too accurate at times, if you hit L1 (on PS3) and its just slightly off the target, you'll never hit the damn thing. The AUG is a good alternative to this if you want something with a little more margin for error. I mean this by, if you are just slightly off when you ADS, it has just enough movement to find the center of the target to get the kill, but not too much movement that you'll be all over the place.

Sniping has been ruined in this game. Sure its possible to do it, but its not as fun anymore. I'll stick with the AK74, FAMAS and AUG and Im good to go. Oh, and my trusty Crossbow and Tomahawk

Went and bought the PS3 version over the weekend, and I like it a lot better than for PC. It was definitely meant as a console game first and foremost. The one-touch prone toggle option in the PC version is killing it IMO. At least with the console versions, you have to hold the button down. WAY fewer people are pulling that crap in the PS3 version of the game because it simply isn't as OP and ghey. You can't prone-hop as quickly as you can for PC.

I use the AK-74 and usually do pretty well. I'll experiment with the assault rifles sometime, but I've had pretty good success with the submachine guns.

THESE FUCKERS ON PS3 CHEAT SO GOD DAMN MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 matches in a row the match was booted by some fucker with a hacked ps3 prolly cuz he got killed too much to start or his team was losing. such bitches. The 4th match was the last straw, some dick sent the freeze the systems up hack out and i had to restart my ps3.

yes i know 360 doesn't have these issues since their online community is better blah blah. but i refuse to pay for the service when i may use once in a while. my 360 is about to shit a brick too. maybe I'll just leave it running idle for a few days till it RROD's on me.
