Need help with angel eyes

What is this piece inside the headlight assembly called and can I replace it or remove it and try to remove the yellowing?
I just installed my alpine HIDs and the outer ring is greenish blue due to this piece being yellow.

I've searched and couldn't find anyone who posted about this problem.. sorry if it's been discussed before and I missed it.

Any piece inside the headlight housing can't be purchased individually, it's just part of the headlight assembly. That looks like a routing guide for the fiber optic stem and doesn't necessarily affect the color of light output. If another member can post a pic of the same part that would be helpful so you can compare (I would but I have an E90 and that part doesn't exist).

Any ideas as to why my outer ring would be greenish?
