Bump to see what sort of mileage people are getting.

According to the trip computer, my consumption is 13.1L/100kms, which I thought was high considering BMW Canada claims less than 10, it currently has 3200kms on the N55.

Curious to see other N55 out there.

2011
335xi

Fuel consumption
City, man/auto (L/100km) 11.0/11.1
Highway, man/auto (L/100 km) 7.5/7.4
Combined, man/auto (L/100 km) 9.4/9.4

My combined is around 11.1...but on the highway I'm usually revving at 3000 rpm (1/2 my driving) and in the city I def use those turbos...once the engine is warm I don't hesitate to take her up to 4000 rpm off stop lights.

So overall not bad...I'm actually very impressed with the fuel economy of this car...FOR the performance offered.

I used to do much worse with an older gen Volvo and it in-line 6 making 180 bhp.

I've tracked almost every tank since new in Oct 08. Averaging about 10.8L per 100k, but just under 10.7 since I got the Dinan stage 2 installed. Yup, milage got better since Dinan was installed. (not around town)

Just drove from Calgary to Banff and back. Averaged about 130km/h and 8.4L/100k.

yeah, but a C230 is a woman's car. A slow, old woman's car with about 1/2 the HP of 335is.

Now at 12500kms.....computer reads 10.7l/100......My driving style is 80% hiway, 120-130kph (with traffic on the 401), and enjoy a good rev or two getting on the hiway once oil temps are 90+C

Got 487kms on 47litres. Cannot seem to do any better. Oh well, I cannot say I bought the car for mileage purposes. It is next to impossible not to hit 5KRPM a few times on a tank of gas. That is what likely keeps me at 10l per 100

I average about 14.6 L / 100 with all my mods. Should go down in the winter since I drive a lot slower.

Sathees, I also find that the narrower winter tires increase my mileage slightly over staggered summers.

Cheers

Winter temps will eliminate any advantage o the narrower tires.....

98000km. I average 10.7L/100km on N54 335i 6 MT. I don't drive all that fast.. put my foot down once in a while, not often

on my wife's 67000km 07 323i 6MT, it is averaging 11.2L/100km, that car mostly stays in town & short trips.. and she revs the hell out of it.
