Porsche Cayenne Tiptronic

Folks,
Looking at leasing a 2011 Cayenne V6. If anyone can share some info on lease info / deals would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I've visited 4 Porsche dealers in my area and NONE of them have a V6. They all tell me the same story, There is a high demand for them so if your dealer has one coming in on a boat...jump on it, put in a deposit. You'll probably end up building your car.
That's just sales BS, making the car look more attractive because there aren't any available. I can order one, just have no clue what my payment is going to be until it shows up. There are several dealers here in NJ that have v6's on the lot. I got an opportunity to drive one today, any more HP and its just overkill.

maybe its sales hype on the east coast but out here in SoCal I havent seen one V6 yet. All the 20-something Daddy's girls I've seen in Cayenne's have been S models. Pretty good exhaust note too.

Really?

You are aware that the turbo is almost twice the price of the V6. Sounds like the kind of advice the OP was looking.

I've a diesel Cayenne on order (due Jan'11) and I completely agree that there enough power in the lesser models for what 99% need from these types of vehicles.

I'm unaware of how the V6 is sold in the US, can you get it in manual form or is it only auto, personally I feel these cars suit the driving style of an automatic best and the ZF 8sp is hard to beat here.

Great car and enjoy your purchase.

P.S.
Did you consider the new VW Touareg at all, reason I ask is that the two models are very similar to drive, especially if the VW is specced with sports air suspension and the Porsche on air too. It works out a lot cheaper and just as pretty.

This is what I ordered.

I had tan is my last one and it was a bitch to keep clean. Hopefully this slightly darker colour will be a bit easier.
