Schmiedmann Interior trim..anyone used this brand for anything? brand before.

http://www.schmiedmann.com/3_series/...age1.htm#18027

These guys are in europe, and actually have alot of cool stuff for bimmers. they have a solid black interior trim kit i think will look awesome on my jet black over tan leather 330i. and its a great price only 309$ plus around 20$ for shipping. they have a ton of things to look at!
only question is
i have never heard anyone mention this brand on any forum or anything. anyone have anything to say about them

( the link should lead to the exact part im looking at) if not click on interior moldings and scroll down about 2/3 way

I haven't heard of them either, but I like their price on glacier trim for my coupe. It's $700 shipped which is $125 cheaper than Tischer. I'm glad you found this. Hopefully someone will have something to say about the company.

I ordered the Alpine Hi-fi Upgrade kit from them. Got it pretty fast and I received my item through DHL, even though I thought that company stopped operating in the US.

That site is super hard to navigate though, and the English translation/contact from their employees is so hard to interpret. Good thing they have reasonable prices.

Also, solid black is probably "High Gloss Black" sold at Tischer. There's High Gloss Black, which is just painted plastic, and Piano Black, which is usually an Individual option and is painted wood.

I'm looking at those "///M" step plates for the doors...pretty reasonably priced. Sounds like this might be a good source to keep in mind.

yea, i really like the black trim, but i do not want some cheap painted plasic. i was looking at the return policy...kind of stange how it was worded. yea i saw they use DHL, which i do see a truck one and a while i think they only do international shipping really. i was looking at the ///M steps too . they look nice.

I was going to purchase the glacier silver trim from Tischer, but now I'm seriously considering getting it from these guys. 125 bucks is 125 bucks. Maybe Tischer will match their price?

Silver vs. alloy?

Does anyone know the difference between silver and alloy on this site? I am looking for the dash that looks like a macbook. The alloy looks like brushed aluminum? I did not know that there was a distinction.
