Deal on a 2008 335i E92?!

Does this sounds like a decent deal from the BMW dealership?

White 2008 E92 335i

Sports, premium, navi, 6 speed manual transmission, saddle brown interior, alarm, rear window shade...are the main options.

17,000 miles, CPO'd and extended maintenance until 100k miles

29,900 or 32,500 out the door

Car is clean inside and out.

The Galves Market Ready wholesale value on that car as optioned with 17k miles is $27,700 + $2,000 for CPO (estimate) + extended maintenance plan + dealer overhead + dealer profit; so the deal sounds way too good to be true, even with the CPO incentives this month.

Did you let the BMW dealer play a shell game with the numbers by working your trade into the deal at the $29,900 sale price?

the car in question they're asking 32k for so i guess he got them down to 29.9 which seems very reasonable especially since there is such a high demand for white coupes and brown interiors. EPECIALLY with a manual AND navigation

At $29,900 RETAIL the dealership isn't making any money on that well-optioned, low-mileage, 2008 E92 335i (and they're not making it up in volume either). There's something more to the story...

Sounds like a good deal. Be sure to ask them for the maintenance records or get a history report through the dealer. Navigation and manual is tough to find. If this is "the one" and you would be stoked to own it, then go for it. Or else if there is any hesitation, then don't do it. Go with your gut.

What were the main things that you wanted in your BMW? Why not an e90? What trim/options does it have? Style wheels? We are all curious

(not to insult your intelligence, or your age. But remember.....)
Try to get at least 2k off the asking price. They do budge! Then find out the % financing rate, NEVER tell them your monthly payment goal. It's not their problem. Then whip out your amazing trade in or down payment. NEVER take the first offer on the trade-in. Feel it out and try to get more out of your trade in and tell them what you expected for it. Then enjoy. Best of luck to you

Nothing more to the story really, car had a clean car fax, or any other issues. I did not trade anything either.

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it:

My main requirements were the 6 speed manual, sports/premium packages, and I really wanted the saddle interior...navi was just an extra. I actually had a base e90 2009 328i and was kind of looking for something with a little more performance and some extra features and I figured why not go for a coupe since I just had the sedan.

They were originally asking 32.9 and I got them to take off 3k plus they are putting the alarm in for me when it arrives next week. I just have to go through bmw financing to get the extended maintenance till 100k. The rate is a bit high for current times (6.9) but I can refi it after 90 days through my credit union.

Just got back from the dealership, with the car. It's fast!
