Question Need Info. About New Nav. Syst.

SORY ABOUT MY IGNORANCE IN THIS THEME.
I don't have a 335i yet, but I have been searching and learning about this new world "BMERS" . Far as I know the nav. syst. had some changes, they added some buttoms in the dash in order to get better control or a fast access to the syst.
IF this is the case. Do they still have the "knob" xclose to the arm rest?
and If I order now Do I will get this new syst.?
Thanks

I'd Keep reading. Everything you need to know is here on these pages.

New Buttons didn't do away with the I-drive, there is also a down loadable PDF version of the Owners manual that is really handy as well. Answered most of my pre-delivery questions.

If you order now, you would get the new iDrive system. The wheel controller is still there, and the programmable buttons are also included.

If you have March production (mid to late April delivery) do you get new setup or still the old? How do you find out for sure?

It's a known FACT, if your car went into production (build) on or AFTER March 1 2007 you will have the new Navi and new 6 programable buttons.

Every car that went into production (build) BEFORE March 1 has the old Navi and no 6 buttons.

It's car "build date", not when you ordered your car from dealer.

Is this FACT true for both sedans and coupes?
