Whats up guys. As the title states, I am selling my BMW Performance Steering wheel(electric one with led's and multi-function display) along with my M5 smg knob(with wiring harness)...They are both for cars with auto transmission's, although the steering wheel might work with a manual car, but I am not 100% sure about that. Both items work flawlessly and are in very good condition. Also I have the manual for the steering wheel but I have to look for it and the wiring harness for the m5 knob isn't pictured but I will send it along with the m5 knob. Below are some pics of them installed on my car. Prices are as follows,

The install takes about 10-15 mins, not hard at all. The only thing is you have to put the wiring in a small space so if you have large hands it might be a bit harder. Other than that, its pretty straight forward install. There is a also detailed DIY for this in this forum but I will have to look for the link. Plus the wiring has already been put together so you basically just have to connect it to the stock wires.

Does anyone here know this guy? I bought the steering wheel and he didnt send me the control module or wireharness. So i am stuck with a steering wheel that doesnt work. I have emailed him and sent him a PM and not a word back.

This is a very sly guy, who did not mention not including the wiring harness. I just installed mine, and it's an important item to have in order to make the steering work.

He would have to disassemble the steering rack, place the old coil spring cartridge, find the old plug molex, pull out the harness. OMG, that's 2 hrs worth of work. Plus, he got almost top forum dollars for a incomplete steering wheel kit. Like I mentioned, he's a sly one.

Yea, I contacted paypal last night. He did email me and stated that it should work with what he sent me. Either way, hopefully he will come through with the parts or hopefully paypal will come through for me. I dont want to be stuck with a steering wheel that doesnt turn on.

There's no way this unit will operate (except to steer) the way he mentions. You need that wiring harness and control module.

I tried to help you out but I guess it dosent matter now since you got paypal involved right away. I understand though since I wouldn't like to pay for a non working part, but I guess it probably was my dealer's fault since they never gave me back the wiring harness. For the record, what would i get out of keeping a wire harness that I would otherwise have no use for. I had never even seen a wiring harness until you told me yesterday, otherwise it would have been in the pics wih the other stuff
