Got this thing done last Friday, and I couldn't be happier. All the added features are nice. If youve upgraded from halogen to HIDs and get those errors, Christina can program the car to ignore it.

Nice meeting you guys.

Cool. If I come back down to Lt can I get this done and how much would it be?

Thanks

Hello Christina and Long

Just curious, any luck on Long's attempt on his X5 or 5 series.

Please keep me informed if this happens.

It's if you retrofit lci tail lights into a pre lci, it will code the lights to work properly.

Not yet sorry, we haven't had time to try out on Long's x5 yet. We still have to upgrade our equipment and software. Once we are finished with this GB, we'll focus on the 5 series.

and yep, if you want lci or alarm to work properly on your car, we can code and install it.

went in today to have my car coded. Thanks so much Long. You are the man! I was going to take it to a dealer to deactivate the DRL's. They wanted $170.

coding done:

DRL deactivate
digital mph
corner light delete
windows roll up,mirrors fold and sunroof close while holding lock on remote
windows roll down, mirrors unfold and sunroof open while holding unlock on remote

Cheap price for all these codes.

Okay, I know I may be tripping on something. I got my coding done this evening @LTBMW. After the coding, it feels like my 6MT shifts better. I have no idea what can cause that from the programing perspective. The engagement is lighter, the shifts are smoother.. I dont know what it is. Has anyone else experienced this after having the programing done?

Either way, I'm loving it! Mad props to Long Tran!

Actually, that's very possible consider we reprogrammed your ecu. I remember reading about how your shift will adapt to your driving as time goes on so when we reprogrammed it, it might have reset that memory. It has never been proven if its true or false so I guess people just have to pay the $60 to come test it out for themselves
