PROcede Question

What does it mean, if my check engine light blinks twice while I'm driving. It does this consistently, if I get on it, and won't stop until I re-cycle the engine.

If you are talking about the SES (Service Engine Soon) lights, read this thread:

I'd also recommend reading ALL of the documentation regarding the PROcede here:

It means there has been an overboost condition. This can be caused by corrupt firmware if there was an interruption during the firmware/map upload. In this case it is just to reload the firmware and maps and make sure the laptop runs on fixed power and not on weak batteries in energy saving mode.

It can also be an edge-phenomena when running high boost. The solution is then to increase the Overboost Delay parameter from 5 to 10 (gives 1 second instead of 500 ms delay for overboost detection).

I've seen both situations in N54 cars and personally use the 1 seconds setting to get rid of the problem.

Thanks, Guys! I'll reload the firmware.
