Unhappy NYC/Fort Lee Area..Looking for a good shop to change summer rims back to stock rims

Hey I have pretty expensive forged summer rims which I am trying to take off my 335 and switch back to my OEM stocks. Only problem is the place I went to to install my summer rims, put their own lug nuts cause the stock ones didnt fit. So I basically want a reputable shop which will be able to take the bolts out that wont scratch up my rims w machines and preferably take them out by hand in the Fort Lee/Palisades Mall Area. If I could get the bolts out I could change them at my house and avoid the salt on the roads right now but I guess I could just wash the rims when I get back home. If anyone knows any good shops or could help me out with the bolts.. please let me know..Thx

what exactly do you want to do?

you just want to remove the wheels on your car and put your winter wheels on?

i am assuming you have tires on both sets of wheels?

if so, go to Harbor Freight, get a jack, breaker bar, extension, 1/2inch rachet, 1/2inch sockets for whatever lug bolt size, jack up each corner wit the car in gear and e-brake on, and remove each lug with a breaker bar, extension, and the size socket of the lug on the wheel. repeat 5 times. remove wheel. put new wheel on. hand thread lug nut and tighten with torque wrench.

repeat for each corner.

is that all you want? or do you want them to change tires from one set of wheels to another set of wheels?

if you need help w/that , please PM me.

I have a set of tires for both summer and winter setup. but I need to mount my winter all season run flat tires on my stock rims and put them on my car. I also need help finding out the size of these lugs so I can try to find a socket to remove them or just have it done at a shop in the area

go to fort lee tire center to mount ur winter tires on your winter wheels. they can swap the wheels for you there. give them $20 and they will carefully swap your wheels. they are not going to use hand tools as that will take too long. if you want to be extra cautious i suggest you do it yourself or find someone local that is willing to help you. most likely those are 19mm bolts or 17mm bolts.

+1 , take it to Auto couture they will take care of you . you don't want to bring it to a BS place and have your wheels scrached or something .

Sorry man, but I disagree. Don't think I should have to give someone an extra $20 on top of their rates just for good service. I've been there before and there's always a long wait despite getting there early, but more importantly they scratched one of my wheels bad a while back.

Sal and his crew are great but they don't mount/dismount tires. He outsources to another local guy so assuming you need them done on the spot and can't drop your car/wheels off, that won't work.

Hit up Tire & Wheel Performance Ctr in Ridgewood, it'll be worth the 15-20 min drive and they will not mess up your rims. I've been going to them for years and they're extremely professional. Torque everything down by hand, really efficient and have never nicked any of my wheels.

They're on the north side so you'll have overshoot it on south and make a U-turn. They're right by the Exxon.
