Car off and Exhaust Muffler Smoking?

Okay....went for a 30 minute easy ride tonight, it's 20F out, parked car and went in and bought a road soda

...came out and it looked like my car was running as there was a faint appearance of smoke coming from my muffler tips? OH boy...what is that? Started car and drove home and no problems?

I don't think I ever noticed this on any other BMW's in the past, then again I never had turbos?

Normal, all cars do it when its really cold out.

both of the 335i's that i've had have done that also. nothing to be worried about. usually only happens in cold weather though.

thank god.....this is the first BMW that has done this.......confirm, the car is not running when the smoke is coming out? I thought an animal was in there breathing? Next thought last night was oil is leaking from my turbo's or something?

Yup, went to go get food, came outside and saw smoke coming out of an exhaust pipe, got a bit freaked, but was then told its normal.

Its just condensation and the hot pipe meeting cold air. Its all good!

Yup, the harder you ran the car, the longer it will persist. Taking the cats off made it a little more visible IMO.
