actually the interest rates was the killer! they are willing to do equal trade the problem is a 6.9% interest rate is just crazy.

OP: find another dealer and get yourself a MT. I swapped a Subaru SVX from AT to MT and it was a nightmare. I imagine an E9X bimmer would be a double nightmare and triple the cost... but definitely ditch the slushbox and get a real transmission.
