It's been a rough month....

Hey everyone,

Ok so after my car getting sideswipped by a guy who said he lost control of his car (not even a toyota lol), I finally get my car back with a fresh rim, mirror, and paint job. (His insurance paid for everything) Everybody involved in the accident was ok.

On thursday morning I walk outside my house and find that I have a flat rear tire. The tires aren't runflats, and I don't keep a spare.I am going to replace the tire since it has already been plugged before. I ordered a new nitto replacement, and have to wait until tomorrow to bring it in. You guys think it will be ok to just add some slime just to get me 3 miles to the shop?

call AAA or the shop... if they are real flat they could screw up your rims... sorry to hear about all the problems

Yes if drove 60mph with 0psi in my rear RFT's without a problem. But i drove on a non RFT at 20mph with 0psi and shredded the tire to pieces.

You dont even need slime if you have a RFT.

Just put air in the tire and see if it holds. From what I've heard, slime is a pita to clean from the rim.
