high power 6AT guys - shift into 5th in the quarter?

I have never ran the quarter mile in my fully modded + meth car... but based on the optimal shift points for a 6AT, (6200 RPM) I would be around 112 MPH at that RPM in 4th gear. Has anyone with full mods tried shifting into 5th manually to attain a higher trap speed? Or is winding out 4th gear to redline the best way to go about it?

Like 123-124? I know 6MT is in the 130's 4th gear redline.

I guess I'll try it both ways. I was just wondering if anyone has tried it....

You will definitely trap higher riding out 4th gear until you cross the traps. No need to test both unless you just want to waste a run.
