LUX H8 bulbs as LED's?

The E90 LCI uses H8's for the fogs and angel eyes...

so I'm wondering if anyone has tried using their Lux H8's as fog lights?

Not sure how useful that would be - the LUX H8 light four modules direct light out to the sides, not front. I suppose if you redid the light module so it was four modules together behind a lens, might be worthwhile...

Standard Lux H8's would not be good for fogs - Marc was working on/thinking about some LUX LED lighting for the fogs, but I think he had doubts as to how well they would work & is not gonna do them right now...

Thanks. And yeah I know they direct light out to the sides but that's the same as the stock H8 bulbs. The stock bulbs have a painted cap on the end but it's the reflectors that direct the light out. So I was thinking LUX would work too.

And thanks I saw the thread too. I was just confused as to why he'd be thinking about making Lux fogs when Lux H8's would probably work. Maybe they throw a code or something?
