Procede v3 rev2 engine light problem

Hi friends,
I tuned my car with AAW intercooler , afe throttle body, afe stage 2 air filter etc at the and today I fitted procede v3 rev 2 system .My remote doesn"t work and also , i use with map one . The main problem is that when I gain speed ,little engine light flashes 2 times about every 20 seconds. What is the problem ? I couldn't understand .

If I remember correct a double flash about every 5 second means the Procede has switched to valet mode due to an over-boost situation. I.e. the boost has been higher than the defined max boost.

I've seen this both on a friends car and on my own car. The friends car's firmware was corrupt by problems that occurred when he loaded it. It was just to reload the firmware and everything was then OK.

I run very high boost on my car and in my case this resulted in short boost spikes just a hair above 20 PSI. The solution in my case was to increase the user software Over Boost Delay parameter slightly. This is a bit dangerous to do if you are not sure what you are doing so you may shoot Shiv an email and get his suggestion if the cause is the same as mine.

V3? I'm guessing you got a used unit. Can u update to v4 firmware/software? If you do have a rev2 unit (silver metal box), its a free update.

Yes yes, you are right i got a used unit, I really don't know how will I update this unit:s Can you help me . I can't understand tuners english

if it is AT you should set the overboost delay to 10 but i would suggest you to first update to latest firmware and maps and see how it goes .

Just take your time and READ . its a piece of cake to update and run the software.

he got my tune so its normal to go valet mode , my settings were set for meth kit also warned him not to drive car before we update for latest map and firmware for his current setup..
i already said those things to him on the phone, wasnt necessery to post it here, i was already aware of the problem, explained him what he needs to do though..

Yesterday I updated and formated . First nearly 10 times car warned me with dtc , tire pressure, etc. At the and it had been normal. But when on road test with map 1 .When I gather speed car, after that small engine light 2 times warned me stoped and warned again and again. What is my problem thanks for help . Also I updated car ,too .Nothing changed same problem again

I updated Gurkan's procede to v5 and new v5's map. After update process, saw some faults like tire pressure, dtc, reduced engine power etc.. (same as mine) I cleared codes (gas pedal to the floor twice). But, faults werent cleared, and engine stopped suddenly (same as mine

). Then I turned ignition on. Entered to command center and 3 / 2 (dme clear codes func.). Then turned engine on. All faults came up again and after a few seconds engine stopped. After all of these, I turned engine on and viola! no error faults.

So far I saw every single step (every problem) on my car too after update.

But Gurkan's car, yellow engine light blinked twice when he was trying WOT. I mean everytime.
I suggested him to check spark plugs, coils and ask dealer to update car's software...

Any suggestions to him ??

Maybe Shiv can help him

I sent email to Shiv many times (for my car's problems) but he didnt replied me.

Thanks for adding Mehmet, on the other hand I updated my car yesterday and today I'll change my sparking plugs, and spools (armatures). I believe nothing will change ? Is there can help me?

raise overboost limit to 10...

If the car is idling funny make sure all the pins on the PNP harness are aligned properly to the DME harness. Can't hurt to double-check.

How come we have to raise it to 10? What's the default number? I didn't pay attention to that.......lol

what Gurkan and garfi are describing I experienced also when updating mine to a V5. I just had to keep clearing the codes for 2-3 times, and keep restarting the car. Eventually, the car will run smoothly, and no more instrument lights will flash.

Try that and see if it works, if your problem isn't solved yet.

The other problems fixed . now car is working perfectly when I starting car and but when I step on the gas, little engine light flashes 2 times every five seconds. I don't now what is going on !!

No problem when idling. Raise overboost limit means :maximum boost (5-20psi) which is placed in power output options?
