Question "Old" Performance Suspension Shock vs ZSP Shock length.

I've searched and can't find the answer anywhere.

Are they the same, or is one shorter than the other?

If considering performance only with no regard to looks, I have a few questions:

If the same length, then how can people NOT switching springs as well expect a reduction in height? That makes no sense.

If the same length, then one would presumably want springs that are also the same length (height), even if you were increasing the spring rate. Correct?

Let's say I wanted to get a set of Swift springs made up specifically for the "old" Performance Suspension Kit. Is it correct to order a spring the same height as ZSP, but with a slightly increased spring rate?

The "Old" Performance Suspension Kit is supposed to be the M-Sport option in 2006 in Europe. Did those cars use the same springs as ZSP? If not, how did they differ.

I have the original Performance dampers in my garage. Would be completely willing to measure if someone can do the same for ZSP.

I have a vested interest as I want to know how high I can go with ride height.

My guess is that I can go as high as I want as long as I keep the stock bumpstops...

Anyway to answer the question the shocks probably have a lengthy working range and probably work ok with several different spring rates. That is, M sport (European) or ZSP.

If you've ever seen how much the OEM shocks droop, even on M cars, you would know they can probably be set up like 4x4s

10 mm between European M-sport and ZSP isn't going to make a difference. I doubt 50 lbs/in of wheel rate will, either.
