Wastegate Rattling

Is anyone else having wastegate issues?

i did, dealer replaced my turbos

Yeah i brought my car into the dealer but i had my aftermarket mufflers on. And i had cut my stock ones off. They always worked on the car when i had them on. But this time they wouldnt do it. I got a stock exhaust now so im hoping theyll fix the problem. I cant take that rattling sound and the lag anymore.

Its happening to me right now i think.Every time my cars from 1000-2000 rpms its like rattles.I think thats it.What do you think??

I get this loud rattle every morning only but idle and driving is ok. What do you guys think?

Yeah, I took off every engine mod that I had, left all the suspension, no hassel, went through the series of test they proceed through, resulting in new turbos....GL

best way to check is to simply reach down into the engine bay and check the play on your wastegate rod....

but if you don't feel like it, the rattle will be present even at driving temps, so you may have nothing to worry about

Yeah i just talked to my advisor and he said he has to call bmw and see if theyll do him a goodwill and fix the car.

Ohhhhh, that's what it is. I started hearing a faint rattle on acceleration two days ago. Luckily, my tune, intake and exhaust are Dinan, so I won't have to take my car apart in 20 degree weather.
