lux H8 no longer flashing at unlock or lock

Sorry if this is something obvious that I'm missing, but I notice a couple of days ago my headlights stopped flashing when I hit the unlock or lock button on the key Fob. The side markers flash and so do the rear lights along with the turn indicators, but not the angel eyes? The h8 lux bulbs still work as soon as I turn the car on. I checked the programming and I have it set to turn on when I lock and unlock the car. Anyone have any ideas?

Your light switch probably isn't on auto...welcome lights only work on the auto setting

nope, it is set to auto. I turned it off and then on just to make sure it wasn't something funky. Thanks for the try.

same thing is happening to me! but it is random... it does flash sometimes but mostly wont.

do you have Lux h8 ? or is it on the stock bulbs?

i disconnected ground on my battery yesterday to see if it would change anything and it has worked the last times i have tried. but before that same as you. lets see if mine keep turning on..

Is your battery fully charged? If I recall correctly, it does this to reserve some power when the battery is running low.

I'll check the battery and go from there. I had disconnected the ground last week when I re-installed my meth kit. I wonder if that had anything to do with that.

I think this is the case - if I unlock/lock the car enough where I don't turn on the car, it will stop lighting the welcome lights to prevent battery drain.

I understand that , but it still flashes all the other lights? One would think it would stop flashing all of them.

This is the weird part...I've never heard of JUST the angels not coming on.

It happened to me a few times too, mostly when I had my car out of the dealer for service. I made sure that the light switch is on auto too, but I guess it just happens randomly.

so I go out and unlock my car and guess what...The lights come on! WTF! I tried locking the car no angle eye's but everything else flashes..I lock it again and the angel eyes flash now.....Very strange!
