Lips?
hey guys, i've been searching around the web looking for different lip/bumper options for my E92 and i really dont know too much about whats what, so i wanted to see if anyone wanted to discuss the differences between options... i know what the m-tech lip looks like, and then i've found an M-sport bumper, which i like, but i dont think i want to replace the entire bumper right now. Does anyone know if they make replica lips that look like the m-sport bumper? If you have a lip on your car it'd be cool if you could post some pics so i can get an idea of what different lips look like on the car, cant trust ebay pics... thanks everybody

I'm a big fan of the aero lip. I think I prefere that look over the m3 rep front ends.

the aero lip is what i was calling the m-tech lip, i think and thats the one i ordered, i saw some pictures of an M-sport bumper i'm pretty sure, or it may have been the same thing as an M3 bumper, either way i really liked the way those look. to me the aero lip almost looks like those bumpers with splitters on the sides, do you know what i mean? i'll try to find some pics but i'm at work so i dont have a lot of time

this is the one i ordered, this is the aero lip correct? this is the M3 bumper (obviously) but i found this bumper for the non-M 3 series and they were calling it the M-sport bumper. To me it almost looks like if you put those add on splitters on the bottom of this bumper it would look similar to the aero lip, imagination anyone? haha |

i didnt notice before but the M3 actually has those splitters i was talking about on it, theyre just hard to see because its black on black, but i think it sort of resembles the same shape, also keep in mind the one i was looking at online was a replica and probably wasnt exactly the same as these

i ordered the ebay aero lip last week. i've always loved the subtle, yet aggressive look it gives. i've never really been a fan of the m3 bumper, i'm not sure what it is, maybe that its more bubbly rounder looking on a sleeker more strong lined body or what, but thats just personal preference. i do like the hamann too good luck with whatever choice you pick!!

i already ordered the aero lip, should be here any day now... i like the way it looks, its an aggressive addition but somehow it still seems to look like a factory bumper, it doesnt have typical "lip" characteristics like the Hamman one that just goes under your factory bumper and makes it lower
